Do you remember the first time you attended an Argentine Tango class? Or your first evening at a milonga?
Whether it was just last month, or a couple of years ago, do you remember what it was that helped you to keep coming? Did you just become entranced by the music, or our fabulous door gal Claire? Did you find the funky shoes too much fun, or was it the free entry at the Banque that was impossible to resist..or heck, maybe it was the dancing?
In short, what helped you to move past your first experiences in tango to continue learning and dancing? Also, what do you think the committee, as well as the community at large, could do more of (or differently) to encourage beginner tango dancers to continue?
