If you are at a loss now that classes are finished on Sundays for a little while, perhaps you could check out La Bomba’s Brazilian Tango workshop happening next weekend. Called ‘Samba De Gafiera’ it is described as a ‘stylish, passionate, elegant and creative couple dance’ with ‘energetic movements and connection between the couple.’

The workshop with Kadu and Larissa from South America runs from 4:00-5:30pm on Sunday December 17. The cost is $25 per person and the location is the Burnside Ballroom on the corner of Greenhill and Portrush Roads. There is also a ball on the Sunday night with performances and a lambada-style dance workshop on the Saturday – packages are available.
