Carlo Sansour, a noted major figure in establishing Argentine Tango in Southern Germany as well as the creation of Siempre Tango, Adelaide is returning this week. He will be visiting us for a short time only, with his long time partner and beautiful tanguera, Brigette Albert.

Carlo’s dedication, encouragement and precise teachings while in Adelaide in the early 2000s infused his students’ dancing with noticeable elegance and sophistication. Additionally, he encouraged a development of the tango community into what we see today. It’s his legacy that precipitated the current development of close social dancing or Tango de Salon, that continues to evolve and improve in our community today.

We will be lucky enough to have them present two workshops on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of August (i.e. very soon!). The workshops are entitled:

Tango de Salon
Time: Sunday 1pm – 2.30pm
Cost: $20
Location: Eastwood Community Centre

and

Sacadas for Men and Women
Time: Sunday 3pm – 4.30pm
Cost: $20
Location: Eastwood Community Centre

All enrolments must be as couples and paid for by Thursday 21st August. A maximum of 10 couples due to the hall size.

Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect with Carlo or for our newer dancers, meet him for the fist time.
