Recently I came across these clips of Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne. It got me thinking that there are so few dancers that actually make me feel something deeply…..
Sure, I can appreciate a couple moving beautifully, seemingly connected, and stepping to the beat of the music. This is something I appreciate with my brain – anything less that this is simply not dancing at all.
When I see Gustavo Naveira or Mariano “Chicho” Frumboli dance it’s more than connecting with their partner and stepping on the beat. I see expressed in their dancing exactly what I’m hearing.
Hope you enjoy the clips.
Or the links directly to youTube….

Thanks for sharing this with us Mark. They are truely masters of the dance, I expect and look forward to seeing more from them now that they are back in the swing of touring!
Seamless movement between open, close and completely separated embrace… And I reckon they’ve listened to those songs a few times!
