Siempre Tango at the Kings Head

Monday August 22^nd
Join us at the Kings Head Hotel on the corner of King William and Sturt Street, Adelaide city, to welcome Carlo and Brigitte back to Adelaide. The back room at the Kings Head is made for tango – wooden floors, red benches along the side, easily accessible bar….and DJ Stojani promises a night full of cruisy nuevo tunes! Bookings are necessary for dinner at 7pm in the Bistro by emailing dance@siempretango.net.au You can check the Bistro menu by clicking here. Prices for meals are betwen $10 and $20. At present about 30 people are booked in for a lively dinner! If you would like to come along after dinner, no booking necessary, please come after 9pm, free entry.

Siempre Tango at The Edinburgh

Saturday September 3^rd
Join in the fun at another new milonga venue – The Edinburgh Hotel, 11 High Street, Mitcham. Tickets are $20/$15. The ticket price includes scrumptious cocktail food, your first drink (beer, wine, soft drink) and stunning performances by Carlo and Brigitte. Don’t miss this! It could be the last time in a long time that we see Carlo and Brigitte performing together in Adelaide. Bookings through dance@siempretango.net.au and phone 0400 257 027. Private Classes with Carlo and Brigitte

A limited number of spaces remain available for private classes with Carlo and/or Brigitte.
$100 for one hour for both Carlo and Brigitte, $80 if you would like a class just with either Carlo or Brigitte.
Hall hire might be extra depending on scheduling.

Workshop Information

PLEASE NOTE ALL WORKSHOPS ARE NOW FULL

The following two-hour workshops are for dancers at the intermediate to advanced level. All workshops will be held at the North Adelaide Community Centre, Tynte Street, North Adelaide. Please arrive 15 minutes early for all workshops to ensure you have your shoes on, have warmed up, and paid your fees so that the workshop can start on time!

Saturday August 27^th

• 11am to 1pm: Musicality and the Masters: Dancing Tango de Salon to Di Sarli and D’Arienzo
  This workshop is full.
• 2:30pm to 4:30pm: Sacadas and Ganchos

Saturday September 3^rd

• 11am to 1pm: Musicality and the Masters: Dancing Tango de Salon with Pugliese
• 2:30pm to 4:30pm: Colgadas and Volcadas: Tango Nuevo and Axis Inclination

Prices for these workshops:

• One 2-hour workshop: $30 per person
• Two 2- hour workshops: $55 per person
• Three 2-hour workshops: $80 per person
• Four 2-hour workshops: $100 per person

Special workshop and milonga package
Attend all four 2-hour workshops plus The Edinburgh milonga for $110 , save $30 per person.

Please note: In these two-hour workshops, we will only enrol two more women than the number of men enrolled. Enrolment will need to be confirmed with payment.

Women’s Technique Workshops with Brigitte Albert

Please note: the women’s technique workshops are now full

These one-and-a-half hour workshops are open to dancers of all levels. Both Sunday classes will be held at the North Adelaide Community Centre, Tynte Street, North Adelaide. They are not repeat workshops – session 2 will build on session 1. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure that you have your shoes on and have paid your fees so that the workshop can begin promptly.

Sunday August 28^th Session 1: 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Sunday September 4^th Session 2: 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Prices for these workshops: $20 for one workshop, $30 for both.

Once you have confirmed your enrolment with Megan, you can pay by bringing cash or cheque to your Siempre Tango class, or the practica. You can also send a cheque for Siempre Tango to PO Box 6206, Halifax Street Post Office, SA 5000. Please ensure you have confirmation of your place before sending any cheques.
