From Tango to Techno

From Menage (a selection of inner city Australia-wide concerts from the Musica Viva organisation) comes this:
Zephyr Quartet with Leigh Warren & and Dancers
Music and dance are both fundamental expressions of our humanity and in this moving and electrifying concert Zephyr Quartet celebrates their profound influence upon one another. Visiting a spectrum of styles including folk and techno, this concert will feature a newly choreographed performance of Michael Nyman’s String Quartet No.2, danced by members of Leigh Warren & Dancers in collaboration with Leigh Warren. Music by Piazzola, Koehne, Nyman.
Date: Thursday 14th September 2006. Time: 8pm, Doors open from 7:30pm. Venue: Leigh Warren & Dancers Studio, Lion Arts Centre, Cnr Morphett Street & North Terrace. Tickets: $25/$20 available at the door or phone 8233 6220 for more information.
