The first in a series of posts to introduce you a little more to the members of the committee, here we go, off the rank with Ben Thoman (pictured dancing with Tiz at the Banque)!
Ben joined the Siempre Tango committee in September 2004 when he built the very first Siempre Tango website. Since then he has joined the teaching team and the DJ ranks with a debut at the Oxford Relaunch milonga in January 2006. He also brews beer, and makes fantastic pizzas. Details on Ben:

Also, this is kind of weird, but this is the second Ben I know who home brews and makes great pizzas. Are there any other Bens who do this?At 10:45 on Wednesday, 4 October 2006 Ben said:
Silvia is my espresso machine…I think it’s only in the nature of bens to brew and make pizza. We probably all have high cholesterol for it!

Hard question Ta, I don’t know that it can be quantified. I mean the person has to have a level, but this does not necessarily need to be high, you can dance some simple stuff and have a great time. I guess someone who listens and is responsive. But it is also fun to dance with someone who is confident and provides a playful feedback, which keeps you guessing, but doesn’t interrupt the flow.At 18:19 on Thursday, 12 October 2006 Ben said:
Also Ta, I must apologise for the delay in posting your comments!
