We welcome Tiziana this week (pictured here with Mark) to the teaching team at Siempre Tango!

Tiziana first started dancing Argentine Tango in 2002 with Southern Cross Tango before joining Siempre Tango with Carlo Sansour. Tiziana spent a long time demonstrating in classes with Carlo and performed with him at venues around Adelaide. Tiz travelled to Buenos Aires in 2006 and danced with one of the world’s greatest current young dancers/teachers: Sebastian Arce. Tiz has also performed locally with Mark Stojani and will be teaching in this current block with both Mark and Ben.

Tiziana is also a highly accomplished Flamenco dancer and has experience performing and teaching with Liana Vargas of Teatro del Mundo , including touring nationally with the acclaimed production La Guerra. She has a thorough understanding of musicality and the importance of rhythm. Tiz won the South Australian Emerging Artist award in 1999 for dance and subsequently spent three months studying flamenco in Spain.

Tiz also is, of course, our poster girl!! I have been hassling Tiz for her profile for a while now and hopefully this week we’ll have it up! We hope you enjoy Tiziana’s passion for tango, knowledge and enthusiasm and dedication to Siempre.
