Tiziana, as noted in an earlier ST website article, is a long-time Argentine Tango dancer in Adelaide and also a highly accomplished flamenco dancer, though we haven’t managed to prise a flamenco performance from her yet! Tiz joined the ST committee last year as our number-crunching treasurer and just yesterday taught her first classes with Mark and Ben!

  • Where were you born? Adelaide.
  • Favourite colour? All shades of green.
  • Favourite gelati flavour? Big fan of Cibo, no surprise there. Give me vaniglia, nocciola, roasted almond, and for the element of surprise cheesecake or coconut any day.
  • Current profession/place of work? Research specialist for a pharmaceutical company in area of cervical cancer.
  • What do you want to be when you grow up? Good?? Still trying to answer that one! Umm, young??
  • One thing you can’t do without? My family and friends (good friends are like family so that’s one thing).
  • Who would you most like to sit next to at a dinner party? Jamie Oliver so he can cook it, Jeff Buckley for his angelic voice, and my sister because I miss her.
  • How many pairs of tango shoes do you own? 6 all bought on last year’s trip to BsAs. Buy up big Imogen, Kellie & Dru! However, may fav all time pair are my dance sneakers! Not a great look at time I know but oh so comfy!
  • Favourite tango moment? No brainer, being asked by Sebastian Arce for a dance. Tango heaven exists! Oh and must add that after 5 years, my partner Andrew learning a right base and back ocho is right up there.
