There are some fun nights ahead at Siempre Tango!

  • Higher Ground Milonga! while usually this milonga will run on the 3rd Friday of each month, just for May, it will be on Friday May 26th. The first one was a hit, and we’re looking forward to heading there again. Light meals are available until late at the cafe. Entry $10/8, free introductory tango lesson before the milonga and we’ll confirm all the times soon…
  • Upstairs at The Establishment! Come along to the upstairs room at The Establishment, previously Bin 273 at, oddly enough, 273 Rundle Street. Friday June 2nd, entry $15/10, and again, we’ll be confirming all the times soon. The exciting news though, is that we look forward to Siempre Tango students featuring in performances regularly at The Establishment. First up – Andrew Gibki and Kellie Spooner, yay! If you’re interested in treading the floorboards under the big lights, have a talk with me. Light meals and snacks will also be available from the restaurant.
  • Milonga para los Ninos. At the Higher Ground milonga for June on Friday 16th, Siempre Tango proudly join the 5-year fundraising tradition started by John and Cheryl Lowry in Brisbane. Para los Ninos is an Association providing financial assistance for underprivileged children in Argentina, and was established by John and Cheryl following the economic crisis in Argentina. Sydney and Brisbane both now hold quite large fundraising milongas once each year, and we are joining them for the first time in 2006. More information about Para los Ninos can be found here .
  • Siempre Tango’s 3rd Birthday Party! Join us at the gorgeous Air Restaurant (and dance floor!) at 210 North Terrace in the city for a delicious two-course meal with nibbles from Chris Jarmer and his team, and of course a celebratory milonga . Saturday July 1st from 7:30pm, tickets $50/45 and available soon…

Did I hear someone saying they wanted a break after Tangomania..? Sheish!
