On the weekend of the 7/8 Feb 2009, Megan Jones and myself were invited by Country Arts SA to conduct a series of workshops and performances in the Riverland towns of Renmark, Loxton, Waikerie and Berri. The Riverland workshop series were part of the Country Arts SA Riverland dance initiative which is a 12 month development project for people in the Riverland Mallee region interested in developing as dancers and increasing the profile of dance in the region.

We had a great time presenting the workshops to an enthusiastic bunch of first time students and would like to thank them all for attending. The Waikerie workshops were conducted on the Sat where the temperature reached 48C! so a special thanks to the guys who attended. Hope to see you all again soon!

Also a special thanks to Richard Seidel, Dance coordinator/Choreographer Country Arts SA for making the whole weekend possible and Michael and Jacinta for initiating the enthusiasm from the locals for Tango.
