Ann Hodgson is the Cultural Officer at the Embassy of Argentina in Canberra. She is currently doing some research on the Argentine Tango in Australia, and if you would like to give some thought to the following questions and respond to her, she welcomes your participation.
- What is the current situation of tango in Australia?
- Who is dancing tango?
- Where are people dancing tango?
- Why are they dancing tango?
- What tango music are they currently listening to?
- Where do they get it from?
- Do they enjoy it? Why or why not?
- Are their needs being met in terms of music? How could this be
improved? - Are there possible opportunities for promoting both Argentine tango music and the dance itself in Australia?
